Some leaks coming out of the sets of Thor: Love and Thunder have revealed the most astonishing change that Chris Hemsworth’s iteration of Thor will undergo, taking his entire time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe into consideration.
A website called Inverse.com has stated that fans of Thor can finally say goodbye to “gamer Thor” and they must welcome a “rock star-Thor.” Okay, so what does that mean?
Well, Odinson Thor, the God of Thunder, is changing his look in the fourth film of the franchise “Thor: Love and Thunder.” If you are well caught up with things, then you very well know that Chris Hemsworth is going to return as Thor in the fourth Thor film titled “Thor: Love and Thunder,” which is also going to mark the return of Natalie Portman in the MCU.
Apart from those two, the film is going to feature a star-studded cast, which will have Christian Bale as the villain, the whole team of Guardians of the Galaxy, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie character, and possibly (just maybe) Tom Hiddleston’s Loki as well.
The script of the film has been written by Taika Waititi, who is also going to direct the film.
Now, a set leak has revealed that the fourth film will surpass Thor: Ragnarok (also directed by Taika Waititi) as far as its colorfulness and playfulness is concerned. Thor Ragnarok was fun. Wasn’t it?
The production of Thor: Love and Thunder have already begun in the preceding week, and some set leaks have given us glimpses into the looks of Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt for the upcoming tentpole. The last time we saw either Chris Pratt or Chris Hemsworth was obviously in Avengers: Endgame. However, the set leaks have revealed that both of the iconic actors have changed their looks for this film.
Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, in particular, who was looking like a roadside drunkard in the Avengers Endgame, has taken a paradigm shift in his appearance, and in the set photos, he is looking more like a pop-star from the 1980s.
Have you seen the image? Well, they are available on the internet, so in case you haven’t seen it, go and have a look.
Inverse.com has stated that the image does allude to the fact that the appearance might be similar to a combination between Bruce Springsteen and some random popular guy from a pop-music band.
As far as Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord is concerned, he looks the same; however, there are few tweaks in his clothes.
A fan has suggested that a sudden change in Thor’s appearance might have been triggered by the fact that Star-Lord keeps playing the ’70s or ’80s music in his spaceship.
The film is being marketed as the one that will give the audience an Avengers 5 like ambience when they would watch it in theaters. New additions of Christian Bale and the return of former star Natalie Portman have certainly made things interesting.
It has been confirmed by Marvel that Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster will wield Thor’s hammer in the film. However, what implication will it have for the third Guardians of the Galaxy film? Only time can answer that question.
