If it doesn’t work, there are some programs like Adobe Flash Player, Elmedia Player (for Mac) and SWF Players that can open your .swf files easily. You need to download these programs in your Mac or Windows computer. Here is how to install these programs and open SWF files.

How to install SWF Player in Windows computer

  1. Open a browser to download the program.
  2. Enter ‘www.swffileplayer.com’ in the address bar.
  3. And press ‘Enter.’ Doing so opens the downloading page of SWF File Player.
  4. Click the ‘Download Now’ button. The button is at the left side of the page, you may need to scroll down.
  5. SWF Player setup file starts downloading, wait for the setup file to download. If the downloading is not started, click on ‘Click here’ to start downloading manually.
  6. Now, open the folder where SWF Player setup is downloaded.
  7. Double click on the SWF Player setup icon to begin installing.
  8. Follow the setup wizard prompts and finish the installation.

Once the program is installed successfully, its launching icon appears on the desktop.

  5. Elmedia Player ‘s setup file starts downloading, wait for the setup file to download. If the downloading is not started, click on ‘Restart the download’ to begin downloading manually.
  6. Now, open the folder where Elmedia Player ‘s setup is downloaded.
  7. Double click on the ‘Elmedia Player.dmg’ file to begin installing.
